Raffle to win W12 club tickets for the Villa game

The Friends of Wormholt Park – local to the Loftus Road ground – are a voluntary group taking care of the park and have just celebrated the park’s 100th birthday: http://friendsofwormholtpark.org.uk/

Winkworths have given the Friends group a pair of W12 Club hospitality tickets for Sunday 25th September match QPR v Aston Villa. The Friends of Wormholt Park are running a raffle for them this week only, winning ticket drawn next Monday 19th September2011 at 4pm.

The £2 tickets in the local pubs pre-match with Newcastle, plus again during the away match next Saturday.

National Football Museum Calls all Football Fans

The National Football Museum has launched its new holding website, and is asking for football fans to help countdown to the launch of the museum, due to open early next year.

The website asks users to join in with the countdown by picking a number that personally connects them to football, and ‘doodling’ a design to accompany the fact.

Facts already on the page include ‘1 player to ever score a hat-trick in a World Cup final’ and ‘25 Yellow cards shown to Holland in the 2010 World Cup’.
