We are delighted to announce the overwhelming success of the QPR 1st and QPR calendar for 2002. The initial print run of 1000 calendars has almost run out. We are looking into producing some more, but that is not a certainty so if you haven’t got a calendar yet then you’ll need to get down to the club shop quickly or buy online to avoid disappointment.
The selling efforts of QPR 1st members has been phenomenal. Over 400 calendars were sold at the Bournemouth, Brighton and Wycombe games by QPR 1st hawkers raising over £2000. The club shop has also sold a large amount.
A big, big thank you to our helpers – Adam Magrill, Graham Barnes, John McCooke, Travis Basevi and Charlie Burr for their efforts at the two home games. They all ended up with frozen fingers and pockets stuffed full of fivers they would never be able to spend. We’re very grateful to each of them for reducing their drinking time and donating their selling services on a matchday.
