QPR1st mourns the passing of former QPR Forward, Frank Clarke at age 79. Frank, the eldest of 5 footballing brothers (including Allan), was signed by Alec Stock from Shrewsbury Town in Feb 1968 to bolster QPR’s Division One promotion push (after a QPR deal to sign John O’Rourke fell through.) He spent 2 years playing alongside Rodney Marsh and Barry Bridges before joining Bobby Robson’s @IpswichTown in March 1970.
