Following the recent second, and successful appeal for kits and footballs, once again following the superb generosity of all those who donated, we’re pleased to say that we are in the process of arranging transport for the consignment of goods to Zambia.
We have a sackful of footballs and another sackful of kit, and following enquiries, Ian Nuckey, the boss of one of our committee members, donated a pair of rope nets for the project use, courtesy of East Barnet Old Grammarians Club, who are linked to East Barnet School.Our thanks once again to everyone who kindly donated goods.
We have been in touch with Jonathan Mwape, the project manager at CHEP, who informs us that the teacher from England is currently over there in Zambia enjoying herself on the exchange trip. We’ll have further news on her Zambian experience once she arrives back in this Country next week on which we’ll provide an update.
