Due to the mounting rumours and lack of information about the Melzack consortium bid, we have sent an open email to Mr Melzack which we copy below:
Dear Mr Melzack
You will be aware that a number of rumours have been circulating regarding your consortiums bid for QPR.
These have now reached fever pitch amid speculation the consortium proposes to fund the purchase by using the Loftus Road ground as a bond or security.
We urge you to either contact us by return or make a statement to the press or on the various QPR forums that will stop these rumours and speculations in their tracks and allay the fears of QPR supporters.
We will post this email on the QPR 1st web site and the forums to try and calm supporters while we await your response.
