2. The administrators have assured him [Mr Blackburn] that QPR has enough funding to see the club through until the end of the season.

3, Richard Thompson is NOT bidding for the club and he has told Chris Wright so.

4. The club are still encouraging other bidders to come forward.”

Swindon protest update

Following the trip to Swansea, where it became clear there is growing anger directed at Chris Wright, it has been decided to call off the proposed ring-fencing of the ground on Wednesday, to allow fans to express their feelings in other ways. The decision to make the symbolic gesture of linking arms around the stadium was taken before the Swansea debacle, and the current mood amongst the QPR support is conducive to something a lot more vocal.

The decision to postpone the ring-fencing was taken only after careful consideration. On balance it was felt the mood wasn’t right at present for this type of protest. QPR1st and the LSA will be staging a protest outside the main entrance to the stadium, on South Africa Road. This is planned to be peaceful but vocal and members who wish to support this should assemble at 7.15 (banners will be welcome). QPR1st understands that other demonstrations are planned both inside and outside the ground.
