QPR 1st’s Committee remain concerned at the continuing legal action taking place in relation to the leaked board memo, as previously reported on this website.
Since the Trust is still in communication with QPR’s solicitors over
the matter, it would be inappropriate for the Committee to comment on the specifics of the case. Nonetheless we remain concerned that, at a time when QPR’s board are themselves prepared to admit the extent of the club’s financial problems, scarce resources are being spent on legal costs.
The respondent in the current legal case is a member of QPR 1st we understand he has been ordered to pay costs to the sum of £8500 to the clubs solicitors.
