The conditions of transfer under the ShareBank Scheme are being relaxed, after the Trust received feedback from shareholders.
A number of people indicated that they would be glad to donate shares, but were concerned that they would lose out if the shares subsequently resumed trading and their value climbed (that’s the kind of optimism we like!). As a result they offered their support for QPR1st, but withheld their shares. The Trust has
therefore offered a pledge that all shares received will be returned to their donors on request.
The scheme has started very well, with the ShareBank currently standing at 44,850 shares. Loftus Road plc has 273 ‘major’ shareholders, defined as those with over 10,000 shares each, so we can now officially hold our own in that group. We’re hopeful that with the Trust’s new pledge we can sustain the momentum, push on to obtain some much bigger individual donations and
get ourselves up that shares league table.
