Brentford/Noades update

Despite assertions elsewhere that the groundshare agreement with Fulham has effectively scuppered the Brentford bid to buy Loftus Road, that is not the case. Indeed, we believe that rather than withdraw his bid, Ron Noades will now step up his efforts to have it accepted.

For the record, QPR 1st does not support, endorse or favour the Noades bid. Likewise, we have no mandate to oppose it without instruction from our members. Even then, we fully acknowledge that QPR 1st only speaks for its membership, and we make no claims to speak for the QPR support as a whole, and whose views might well differ to those of QPR 1st members.

The above criteria also applies to other bids. To date, QPR 1st has not endorsed or opposed any bid. Our stated policy is to gather and disemminate information, and encourage all bidders to be open about their intentions for QPR.

Face painters required for Cambridge game

The club are calling for volunteers to help with some pre match face painting for the kids on Saturday 2nd February. The match is already a sell out although some restricted view tickets may still be available. If you are able to help please email Tracy atinfo@qpr1st.co.uk
