A news story suggesting that Fulham were making a bid for a stake in Loftus Road has been refuted by the club. QPR1st contacted chief executive David Davies when it saw the story and was told, “we have not talked to them”. In answer to a follow up question from QPR1st, Davies told us, “there are no
intentions to merge the clubs”.
With so much happening on the London football scene at the moment – Brentford’s search for cash, Wimbledon’s slow break-up and stories of cash problems at Chelsea and Fulham – there are bound to be many rumours floating around.
