“qpr1st notes with sadness the decision by Aylesbury United to proceed with a friendly against Wimbledon (otherwise known as Franchise FC), the club that moved to Milton Keynes against the wishes of its supporters.
The qpr1st committee is opposed to any form of co-operation with Wimbledon (Franchise FC), where no points are involved, in accordance with the advice given it by the Football Supporters Federation and Supporters Direct. We therefore regretfully advise all members not only to avoid attending the friendly between Aylsbury United and QPR in July, but we call on them to lobby
their friends to persuade them not to go as well.
In the event that Aylesbury decide to pull out of their friendly with Wimbledon (Franchise FC), we will of course advise our members to go the the game against QPR, since we are well aware of the normally friendly relations between QPR and Aylesbury supporters and we would like to see those sustained.”
