We are pleased to announce that the bucket collections we participated in on Saturday in, and around the ground, raised a total of £1003.80. This amount was raised by a skeleton staff of helpers in just over 1 and a half hours. The best bucket award goes to the Ellerslie Rd Stand where almost half of the total was raised. There was also £180 in notes raised ( 1 x £20 ~ 9 x £10 and 14 x £5 ).
The money has been safely deposited into the Co-Op Hoops Fund account.
Initial feedback has been very positive and we will do a more in depth update for the programme next week.
Many thanks to everyone who donated and to everybody who helped out on the day. We cannot stress enough how much it was appreciated. On that note, should we be playing the first leg of the play offs at home, then we will be looking at collecting again at the ground that weekend (Sat 10th/Sun 11th). We are appealing again for bucket collectors/helpers as we will need a minimum of 20 people in order to maximise the potential for donations as this game will be a sell out.
