Matt Winton steps down from the Committee

QPR 1st regretfully announce that Matt Winton will be standing down from his position on the board of the Trust with immediate effect until such time as the dispute between the Winton family and the QPR board is resolved. Matts’ statement is attached below. The board of QPR 1st would like to thank Matt for his contribution to the Trust and hope that the Winton family and the QPR board can come to an amicable agreement that minimises further legal expense to the club and speeds Matts’ return to our board. At this point in time, Queens Park Rangers needs all the resources it can muster. The Trust stands ready to facilitate mediation if both parties are amenable. The last thing QPR needs at this pivotal moment in our history is another protracted and expensive legal dispute.

Matt’s statement

Due to recent developments involving my family and the Board of Directors of QPR Holdings PLC, I have decided to temporarily step down from the committee of QPR1st until the matter has been resolved.

I do not wish to comment further currently as I believe that this would be detrimental to the great progress that Ian Holloway and the team have made. However a full statement will be made at the appropriate time.

I look forward to resuming my responsibilities for the Trust once this
matter has concluded.

You R’sssssss

Matt Winton
