Following Saturday’s fans’ based initiative, ‘Turn up if you Love Rangers’, QPR 1st would like to thank a group of fans who, unable to attend themselves, very kindly purchased match tickets for the Colchester game, and then donated them to the initiative.
After reading of the overseas fan who had purchased a match ticket to enable a supporter to attend the game, some of the members of the Manc Rs, who are a group of Rs fans based up in, obviously, Manchester clubbed together to purchase 2 match tickets. The 2 lucky recipients, along with another fan on our waiting list, who had contacted us about the original donated ticket, were extremely grateful to all concerned and enjoyed their day.
Huge thanks to our overseas member and to the Manc Rs, with special hugs to Anthony Hobbs who did the majority of the running around/arranging in order for this for this to happen.
